It's time to hit the road with another "Adventures with Tom"

On this trip, we'll take a tour of the famous Painted Churches around Schulenburg, Texas. A tour guide will lead us through four spectacular church buildings, and we'll have lunch at the Oakridge Smokehouse. The cost of the tour is $18 and the smokehouse buffet is $13.95. We don't need your money until the day of the trip, but we DO need your reservation by noon April 24.

TOUR UPDATE & DETAILS:

As of noon Tuesday, we have 20 signed up for the Painted Churches Tour. A tour guide will lead us through four of the famous Painted Churches around Schulenburg, Texas. 

We will take 2 church vans. We will leave PROMPTLY at 8:30am, so if you're traveling with us, you should BE AT THE CHURCH OFFICE PARKING LOT BY 8:15am. 

I know one or two will meet us in Schulenburg. In that case, meet us at 10:00am at the Chamber of Commerce office, 618 N Main St, Schulenburg, TX 78956.

Each person will pay $18 to the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce when we arrive at 10am. 

Our plan is to tour a couple of churches in the morning, then eat lunch and tour two more churches in the afternoon. We expect to be back at the church parking lot at 5pm.

Lunch will be at the Oakridge Smokehouse. You're responsible for your meal; the Smokehouse buffet is recommended at $13.95.
