Midweek Inspiration and Prayer - Begins September 16
Join Us Wednesdays in the MPC, 5:45-6:00pm!
Each Wednesday evening following the midweek meal, stay for 15 minutes for "Table Talk." It will include a brief devotional thought from Pastor Tom followed by table discussion and prayer. Wednesday Night Supper is served between 5:00-5:45pm.

BAM! is BACK! Our Sunday evening training program for children grades K-5. BAM! will meet from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. in the Children’s Sunday School room located in the children’s wing on the Hillcrest campus. We will be diving deep together as we study the Bible, Missions and Worship Arts. Snacks will be served, and we will have GREAT fun learning and sharing! Come check it out!

Hillcrest served lunch to about 200 teachers and staff from Hill, Murchison and Anderson schools. The day went smoothly thanks to the leadership of Pat Stivers and her team of volunteers: Margaret Miller, Jane Frost, Sharron Ingram, Cheryl Harris, Carol Moreno, Jeanie Hubbard, Rose Crawford, Sheryl Southwell, and Denise Hall, Ronald White, Dan Stivers, Lisa Leutjen, and Nikki Cameron (decorations).
Please stop by the church office this Sunday after service to read the Thank You poster from Hill Elementary School.

Adventures with Tom: Independence, Texas. Come see where Texas was born—and where Sam Houston was born again. On Thursday, October 8, we'll leave the church parking lot at 8:30am to travel to Independence, Texas, the birthplace of the Republic of Texas. We'll tour the Texas Baptist History Museum and Independence Baptist Church, and stop by the spot in Rickey Creek where he was baptized. We'll eat at Must Be Heaven in Brenham, and make a stop at the headquarters of Blue Bell ice cream. We should arrive back at the church at 4pm. Hey Men/ Dust off your life jackets and get out your sun screen! Ascend Outdoors is taking us out to Lake Georgetown on October 17, 9am-5pm, for a day of easy kayaking and hiking. We have an opportunity to serve at the Angel House Soup Kitchen! Our group will leave Hillcrest at 8:30am.
We need at least 5-6 volunteers to meet Angel House Soup Kitchen requirements.
Thank you for supporting this ministry! In May Angel House Soup Kitchen served 9,832 meals. As of May, they have served 42,875 meals this year.
