Kairos Prison Ministry - Thank You!

  • Google Calendar ICS

In March Pastor Tom and Jim Steed participated in the Kairos Weekend
From one of the Kairos Weekend Leaders:
UNITY……For 13 years I have been coming to church and at any altar call there are always a few holdouts or hardened hearts who stay seated.  But I saw Bloods, Crips, Mexican Mafia and Aryan Affiliates, men who used to be on death row men I have known for years so anti-social that I only ever saw them talk to a handful of people, join hands in a Conga line, men with canes, men with walkers, knee pain, hip pain.  All ailments disappeared for a short time as we worshiped in the form of a Conga line (of all things).  Not one person remained seated, and I know God looked down and saw past the exterior and our hearts became one to the tempo of “I’ll fly away oh glory, I’ll fly away.  In the morning, I’ll fly away.”
