Mission Statement
We seek to live out the teachings of the Bible, God's Holy Word. Our goal is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at all times in every way using words whenever necessary. We recognize every person as God's creation and seek to minister to all people without discrimination.
The Soup Kitchen is a human service organization of caring and loving people. We serve the poor who suffer from the lack of basic human needs: material needs, such as food, and clothing.
Although we are not a food pantry, we are a soup kitchen that serves a hot meal every day for our guests. We also offer showers every day.
In order to serve as a positive factor healing force in the spirits and lives of needy individuals, the Soup Kitchen strives to provide encouragement with respect and dignity.
Every person who comes to us for a meal is welcomed, without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, religious preference, handicap or income. We do not discriminate.
