Another Mission Anderson is in the books as a success!
There were over fifty students who came to the gym daily to enjoy the air conditioning, visit with friends, play basketball, and prepare for their afternoon practice each week. 50-70 students came for Domino’s pizza at the end of each week!

Volunteers played an important part in making this event a positive experience for the band students by cutting/bagging/serving watermelon and frozen grapes for morning snack, filling up water jugs, serving snacks and pizza and whatever else it took to make a comfortable environment for the students.

The next time you see one of these volunteers, please tell them thanks for being part of Mission Anderson:
