Outdoor Baptism at Twin Lakes YMCA

Sunday, July 14, 1:30pm, Twin Lakes in Cedar Park

On Sunday we will gather for baptisms at the Twin Lakes beachfront.
Those attending for baptisms will park in the Twin Lakes Family YMCA parking lot next to the fitness facility, and then walk over to the Lakeside Pavilion near the sand volleyball court. From there we will head to the beachfront next to the fishing pier where we will hold baptisms.

What To Bring: Baptism participants will need to wear shorts or a swimsuit and a t-shirt. You will need a towel and a complete change of clothes.

Why Do You Call It “Believer’s Baptism” and Why Do I Need It? Believer’s baptism is a public expression of your personal decision to place your faith in Jesus. It’s a powerful symbol of your union with the Lord who died and rose again to accomplish your salvation. Just as a wedding ring reminds a married person of their commitment, our baptism reminds us that we belong to Jesus.
